Bungie has revealed the notes for "Destiny's" latest 2.4.1 patch.
According to the official blog of the game, the latest patch has raised the Light cap to 400. Due to the increase of the Light cap, the Archon's Forge, the Heroic SIVA Strike playlist, and the Legendary Engrams will now give rewards up to 385 Light. The changes to increase the Light above 385 have taken effect when the Heroic Mode for Wrath of the Machine was released recently.
According to another post on the official blog of the game company, the latest patch included a lot of changes in the video game. It fixed different economic issues the game had before the patch like the issue where the Trespasser did not require an Exotic Shard to Infuse. The Archon's Forge will now drop Ghosts and Artifacts up to 400 Light.
For the packages, Vanguard, Crucible, and Faction packages will now provide drops up to 390 Light. Reputation Packages of the Crucible, New Monarchy Ghosts, Future War Cult, Vanguard, and Dead Orbit will have increased chances with the new update.
For Engrams, the rare ones will now decrypt up to 365 Light. The Legendary Engrams can now decrypt up to 385 Light and the Exotic Engrams will now decrypt up to 400 Light. The issue that caused the Firefly to activate many times that it caused a crash has been fixed.
For the Exotic Armors, there will a few ones that no longer require Rise of Iron and can be acquired through the Exotic Engrams. The following armors are the Astrocyte Verse, Ophidium Aspect, and the Thagomizers. The rapid cooldown perk of the Fr0st-EE5 Hunter Exotic Legs has been adjusted to not interfere with the base cooldown.
Regarding the UI, the patch fixed an issue with the Roster previews for some Emblems like the Memories of Iron. The Eververse sections for the Emotes will now display as Emotes I, and Emotes II. It also fixed an issue where the Heroic SIVA Crisis Playlist was not counting towards the Take a Strike Record.
The Items section had a lot of issues fixed with the new update. One of these issues fixed was one where the Rare Special Weapons Engrams would sometimes decrypt into Legendary Primary Weapons. Another issue fixed was the Consumed Ghost Shell did not properly display its spines.
Several items from the 2015 events have been removed with the latest update. These items are the Flimsy Masks, Gifts of the Lost, Fruit Motes, Glimmer Chew, Paper Scraps, Crumpled Masks, and many more.
