New details and spoilers for "Supergirl" season 2 will likely feature Cyborg Superman and a possible spin-off series for Superman soon.

Several rumors are making rounds regarding a possible "Superman" spin-off series as "Supergirl" season 2 has introduced its version of the Man o Steel on two separate episodes. The show's version of Clark Kent/Superman (Tyler Hoechin) has been positively well received, thus plans for a another spin-off show in the Superman mythos has been suggested.

However, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told Collider that there have no plans at the moment to have a "Superman" spin-off series as they currently focused on Kara Danvers/Supergirl (Melisaa Benoist) in the show. But, Kreisberg did mention that they would like to have Hoechin reprise his role as Superman in future episodes of "Supergirl" within the season.

Meanwhile, new details on the possibility of Cyborg Superman appearing in "Supergirl" season 2 have been revealed as several fan speculations theorized that Kara's adoptive father Jeremiah Danvers (Dean Cain) could be transformed into the villain by Project Cadmus.

Project Cadmus abducted Jerimiah Danvers after Martian Manhunter (David Harewood) and Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) found out that he is alive. Martian Hunter pretended to be Hank Henkshaw after he was killed and led the DEO at the same time looked after Jeremiah's daughters as he promised, Cinemablend reported.

It was during episode 2 that Cadmus told Alex that Jeremiah "volunteered" to help Cadmus fight aliens that are living among the humans on earth including Superman and Supergirl. YouTube channel Emergency Awesome speculated that Cadmus could likely go on with the plan to transform Jeremiah into Cyborg Superman the same way Metallo was created, using alien technology or other means.

There are also theories that the real Hank Henkshaw was not killed and Cadmus will somehow transfer his mind to Jeremiah, using him to fight Supergirl.

Previous reports revealed that Jimmy Olsen (Mechad Brooks) will be wearing a specialize suite to help Kara and assume the mantle for Guardian in "Supergirl" season 2. Kreisberg stated in an interview that Jimmy will no longer has to stand aside or play sidekick and decides to be the vigilante Guardian in order to protect National City, and without a doubt Kara.

Kara on the other hand, will not approve of Jimmy's decision to be a vigilante, so James ends up asking Winn Schott (Jeremy Jordan) for help in making the suite since he is now working with the Department of Extra-Normal Operations (DEO), and comes up with excuses to his superiors and Supergirl in order to hide Jimmy's secret.

"Supergirl" returns on Monday at 8PM the CW Network.
