The latest details for the "God of War" PS4 will feature a rumored support for the PlayStation 4 Pro and demos for the sequel not happening soon.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding the new "God of War" sequel for the PlayStation 4 as the game is said to have no support for Sony's upgraded console, the PlayStation 4 Pro. Creative director Cory Balrog stated that the new "God of War" was specifically designed for the standard PS4 console and it is not necessary requires a PS4 Pro support when playing the game, Ubergizmo reported.
However, there is still a possibility that the PS4 Pro's version of the new "God of War" sequel will have added visual enhancements.
Aside from the rumored PS4 Pro support, Balrog added that there are no demos for "God of War" coming up this year as he explained that the developers are working hard in making the game, thus bringing demos will not be a good idea at the moment. As a matter of fact, Balrog added that it is better for "God of War" to not have a single demo, Express UK reported
Nevertheless, Barlog iterated that if it is to happen, gaming fans will not see it come into existence until the game is "a month or two" away from the official release date.
Previous reports stated that new game details for the new "God of War" sequel for the PlayStation 4 during this year's PlayStation Experience event on December. Santa Monica first showcased the new "God of War" game during the E3 2016 event, and has skipped several major gaming events such as Gamescom, Tokyo Game Show and even the PlayStation Meeting.
Balrog tweeted that he wanted to show something new about "God of War" at the PSX 2016 event, but he is currently busy with the amount of work being done in the sequel.
The new "God of War" title will feature Kratos somewhere in Norway after the events of "God of War 3" and is not living with a new family. Kratos and his unnamed son will encounter creatures and gods from Norse mythology, thrusting him back in the battlefield once again.
Balrog stated that Kratos's wife will have pivotal role in "God of War" but he did not reveal any further details at the moment. He added that sequel is being worked by the original "God of War" crew and teased that Kratos and his son will be visiting some of the nine realms in Norse mythology.
There is also a "Special Edition" for "God of War" as Balrog tweeted the gaming fans if they would like artbooks, game soundtracks, and even a life-sized Kratos figure.
"God of War" will launch sometime in 2017 for the PS4.
