Nintendo NX's developer recently dropped a new update on its highly-acclaimed console, suggesting a possible release at the same time with the release of game titles such as "Super Mario" game and the new "Legend of Zelda" franchise. Together with this, rumors include that the console will support platforms of smartphones and Virtual Reality (VR) devices.
According to iTechPost, the idea of Nintendo introducing the NX console together with the said titles is a good marketing strategy, since most gamers would love the classic games modified to compete with other games out in the market and other consoles, such as PS4 Pro and Xbox Scorpio.
More so, additional details on NX coinciding release with game titles reveal that the package will already include four game titles, namely "Zombi U," "Mass Effect 3" and "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2."
A leak from a Reddit user also surfaced in the internet, revealing plenty of new details on the Nintendo NX console, including a possible 4K support.
According to PC Advisor, the source, who is dubbed as someone working for a 'large retail partner,' revealed that the NX will support 4K, which will most likely for video playback like Netflix and other streaming sites. Gaming will be at 1080p at 60fps, while the games will be cartridges as per previous rumours.
Unfortunately, the Nintendo NX will not be as powerful as the Xbox One Scorpio and PS4 Pro, and it won't compete with smartphones, as it will just combine the power of the home console with the portability of a handheld, which users will be able to carry around and play games anywhere they like.
According to reports, Nintendo could reveal its new console next week. Its price could be between $300 and $350, to be in line with competitive brands such as Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Bundle offers possibly similar to Wii U Deluxe will be worth $399. (PCAdvisor)
The leaked information also indicate that the packaging for Nintendo NX is bigger than the Wii U's, but simple in design with a blue and white color scheme. It will also have detachable controllers and will be absent with dock.
Although the Nintendo NX is confirmed earlier this year to come out in March 2017, several rumors and reports remain optimistic that the Nintendo NX will be released before the end of 2016. Fans and players should rather focus on Nintendo's October event for the fifth anniversary of Nintedo Direct for further updates on the mysterious console.
