Torino is on a roll right now, climbing to the fourth spot of the current Italian top flight table after an ongoing five-game unbeaten streak.

The team crushed bottom three team Palermo, 4-1, on Monday at the Renzo Barbera Stadium to earn their third consecutive win, as per Daily Mail Online.

Il Toro goalkeeper Joe Hart was beaten early after Palermo midfielder Ivaylo Chochev buried a header only five minutes into the match from a cross by teammate Alessandro Diamanti. Head coach Siniša Mihajlović came back with a vengeance after that opening goal by unleashing four goals for the rest of the match.

Adem Ljajic scored a brace to immediately counter Rosanero's lead. The Serbian striker found the equalizer in the 25th minute then grabbed the lead for Torino in the 40th.

Marco Benassi then added to the lead in the first half injury time as he directed Daniele Baselli's assist past the outstretched arms of Palermo shot-stopper Josip Posavec.

Baselli then completed Torino's four-goal haul with a strike in the 50th, keeping his team's winning streak alive.

Meanwhile, capital city squad Lazio is also on a three-game unbeaten run. Their two-game winning streak was snapped last Sunday as they were held to a 1-1 draw by middling squad Bologna at the Stadio Olimpico, ESPN reported.

Bologna scored early as defender Filip Helander hit a close-range left-footer to the bottom left corner of Federico Marchetti's net. The assist came from Ibrahima Mbaye, who headed a pass following a set piece situation.

Lazio was able to salvage the draw as Ciro Immobile pulled off a last-gasp goal as he converted a penalty kick seven minutes into stoppage time from a foul by Marios Oikonomou inside the penalty area.
