Andrew Lincoln and Steven Yeun embrace onstage at AMC's 'The Walking Dead' panel during Comic-Con International 2015 at the San Diego Convention Center on July 10, 2015 in San Diego, California.

Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) did not embrace in "The Walking Dead" Season 1 titled "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be." In fact, the former killed the latter in the premiere episode of the AMC series' new season.

However, Morgan and Yeun embraced during the premiere of "The Talking Dead" on Oct. 23, Sunday, at Hollywood Forever Ceremony in Los Angeles, California, Daily Mail reported. It was a live 90-minute episode of "The Walking Dead" aftershow.

Morgan and Yeun were joined by their co-stars on the red carpet. Among them were Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Michael Cudlitz, Lauren Cohan, Andrew Lincoln, Ross Marquand, Josh McDermitt, Sonequa Martin-Green and Christian Serratos.

At one point during the event, Morgan jokingly he flipped off the cameras with both hands. He wore a black leather jacket over a dark grey T-shirt paired with black jeans.

On the other hand, Yeun was emotional during the event just like his co-stars. The South Korean-American actor pointed out that while the death of Glenn in the comic written by Robert Kirkman wrote was "such a messed up," it was incredible and impactful so it was good that the death of the character in the TV series was done in the same way.

With AMC boss Charlie Collier as one of the invited guests, "The Walking Dead" showrunner Scott M. Gimple and his fellow executive producer Robert Kirkman attended the event, as well. According to Gimple, it took him and Kirkman two years to plan "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be."

"The hardest thing about it was starting the script and thinking about what would break Rick," Hollywood Reporter quoted Gimple as saying. "It was all in issue 100 but (also) looking for a way to break the audience, too, but not in a way to hurt them but for them to believe that Rick Grimes is under the thumb of Negan."
