PlayStation Plus November 2016 line up includes 'Red Dead Redemption 2' and 'Fallout 4' mods?

The 'Red Dead Redemption' video game for Microsoft Corp.'s XBOX 360 console sits on display at the BMO Capital Markets Annual Digital Entertainment Conference in New York, U.S., on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010.

The PlayStation Plus November 2016 lineup is expected to be revealed this week. Also expected is the "Red Dead Redemption 2" reveal and the ongoing "Fallout 4" mods situation.

Over the past three months, Sony has done something similar and it is possible that the Japanese corporation may do it again for this month too. The tech giant has not yet disclosed any official detail and has successfully kept PlayStation Plus titles for November a secret.

Some fans are speculating that "Watch Dogs" could be part of the PS4 bundle, citing the fact that "Watch Dogs 2" is coming out later this month. The month of November, just days away, sees a lot of the year's most anticipated titles released. Some of the already launched games include; "Titanfall 2," "Battlefield 1" and "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition."

Sony may opt to hold back their best deals for quieter times as it happened with PS Plus selection last year where it ran against the likes of "The Walking Dead" Season 2 and "Magicka 2" on PS4, "Beyond Good & Evil" and "Mass Effect 2" on PS3, as well as "Invizimals" and "Dragon Fin Soup" offered on PS Vita.

According to Express, the PlayStation Plus October 2016 lineup will still be available until Oct. 31, Monday. Sony is well-known of changing its selection on the first Tuesday of each month.

In addition, Rockstar has revealed that PS4 fans will soon get a taste of the Wild West. This comes just after Xbox One fans returned to the "Wild West" this summer via Backwards Compatibility.

"For the past 20 years, Rockstar has continually redefined the concept of open worlds," PS4 blog post reads. The post noted that Rockstar has kept on delivering on a level that few have managed to match. The American video game publisher is best known for their "Grand Theft Auto" series, "Red Dead, Midnight Club, Max Payne," "The Warriors," "Bully," and "Manhunt" games.

Although there is no firm date has been given for its introduction, fans can expect Rockstar to drop long before the sequel, "Red Dead Redemption 2." In a recently released trailer, it appears that the new title from Rockstar Games will be a prequel. However, the studio is yet to confirm this.

Meanwhile, Sony has confirmed a new deal between the two companies to allow certain online content to go live first on PS4. Despite missing much detail from the announcement, it appears PlayStation 4 fans will be able to earn select online content ahead of Xbox One fans.
