Back-up Dancers Again Save Britney Spears from Wardrobe Malfunction

Britney Spears Wardrobe Malfunction

It was almost a year ago when Britney Spears suffered a wardrobe malfunction while singing “3” at her “Piece of Me” show. The pop superstar had a similar accident on Sunday when her halter top fell while performing at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino Las Vegas.

Again, like the 2015 incident, it was her back-up dancers who spared Spears from further exposing her breasts. She was finishing her cover of “I Love Rock N’ Roll” when her halter top fell. One male back-up dance immediately went to her back to fix the problem but the top fell again the second time. Mashable reported.

She nevertheless went on and finished the song while two back-up dancers tried to tie the halter top again. The lights went out momentarily and when it opened again, Spears already had a cropped denim jacket from one of the female dancers.

But it did not solve the problem because the halter top was still causing problems as she segued to “Gimme More.” This time, the solution came from a male back-up dancer who took off his flannel for the singer to button up over her wayward halter top, Entertainment Weekly reported.

The video has become viral with almost 1.9 million views in just two days. Commenting on the embarrassing moments, Thomas55Pham asked, “Who designed that costume? That person needs to get fired.”

Ruderick cantos believes the choreographer also needs to be axed, while Knuckles of Doom suggested that Spears should start wearing clothes in her shows.

Some commenters gave a thumbs up to the back-up dancers for saving Spears, while Sven Olender pointed out the singer also handled the situation well compared to years ago when a similar situation freaked her out.
