Britney Spears and her dancers just showed again how to deal with a wardrobe malfunction when the zipper of her body suit opened while she was singing "3" at her "Piece of Me" show on Friday.
The video, posted on YouTube, has become viral with almost 1.4 million hits in just two days.
When she felt the zipper broke, she signaled to her backup dancers for help a minute into the number. There were several attempts which all failed. First, the dancers hid behind her back while trying to close the problem zipper while Britney was at the back part of the stage.
However, since the number called for her to move to the front, a male dancer followed her to try to closed the zipper but still failed. One more male dancer, who was at her left, also helped with no success either. The first dancer, who was hiding at her back, followed Britney who had to do a 360-degree turn, so at one point it was him seen doing his best to close the zipper.
Two minutes into the number, the zipper has opened all the way down to her hip, exposing Britney's back and the top of her undergarment. Another attempt was made by a female dancer three minutes into the song. That was the last try as the song faded, with Britney's last move showing her open back and the dangling zipper handle swaying.
It is not the first incident of wardrobe malfunction for the 33-year-old singer. On Dec. 30, 2013, her costume's zipper also did not cooperate while she was performing in Las Vegas, reports Huffington Post. In 2009, her underwear was exposed when her high-cut leotards ripped while performing in Tampa. However, while complaining offstage while changing, she did not realize that her microphone was still on, so the audience heard her comment, "My p - - - - was hanging out!"
