LG is preparing for the launch of its next flagship device known as LG G6. The G6 will arrive as a successor of the current flagship phone G5, but surprisingly it won't be coming with a modular design which is one of the salient features of the LG G5.
As per ETNews, the users found the LG G5 to be complicated and pricey LG G5 came with a costlier price tag. Moreover, customers had to buy its accessories separately which increased the price of the phone. It did not give good result to the company in terms of sales and performance. It seems the South Korean company will not repeat the mistake again.
According to leaked information, the LG G6 will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 processor. It will have 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of native storage. It is expected to be water resistant device.
The LG G6 is likely to come with inbuilt wireless charging. It is expected to feature an OLED display, The launch date for the device is not officially announced. It is expected to release in April next year. LG has not commented on the rumors of quitting on the modular design for LG G6, CNet reported.
The LG G5 is the current flagship smartphone of LG company that was launched in April this year. The phone features a full metal body along with a modular design that allows users to easily swap accessories like 360 degree camera and removable battery.

The device comes with removable Li-Ion 2,800 mAh battery and gives support for fast battery charging: 83% in 30 min (Quick Charge 3.0). It is available in Silver, Titan, Gold and Pink color variants.
