'Mom' Season 4 airdate, news, update: Anna Faris’ real-life husband Chris Pratt to guest; Season 4 premiere plot details released

Chris Pratt and wife Anna Faris have recently debunked all the extra marital affair rumors and revealed that they are happy together.

Christy is getting a new love interest on "Mom" Season 4. Chris Pratt, who's also the real-life husband of Anna Faris has signed-up to guest star in an upcoming episode of the CBS comedy.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Pratt will play the character of Nick, a charming horseback riding instructor who Christy decides to pursue romantically. However, viewers will learn that Nick is the nephew of Marjorie (Mimi Kennedy) who declared him as off-limits. The episode is slated to air in early 2017.

Pratt, who's currently filming the sequels of "Guardians of the Galax"y and "Jurassic World," has also appeared on NBC's hit comedy, "Parks and Recreation." After getting married in 2009, he co-starred with Faris in films including "What's Your Number," "Take Me Home Tonight" and "Movie 43."

Pratt joins previously announced guest star Bradley Whitford from "The West Wing" who will play Adam's bestfriend.

Meanwhile, CBS has released the official synopsis for the Season 4 premiere of "Mom." The season opener titled "High-Tops and Brown Jacket," will find Bonnie and Adam's relationship being put to the test when Adam moves in with the mother and daughter for a few weeks. Elsewhere, Christy tries and meet men with Jill but she realizes that it may be a mistake.

Created and executive produced by Chuck Lorre, Mom follows the story of a newly sober single mom who tries to pull her life together in Napa Valley. It also stars Beth Hall, Jaime Presley, Sadie Calvano, Blake Garrett Rosenthal, Matt Jones, and Nate Corddry.

"Mom" Season 4 premieres on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 9PM on CBS.
