New details and spoilers for "Avengers: Infinity War" will feature Star-Lord's important role in the film's plot and the status of the Defenders in the sequel.
"Luke Cage" star Mike Colter weighs in on The Defenders' possible inclusion on "Avengers: Infinity War" as he told the Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM in interview that Marvel could make it happen, but the problem would be the scheduling as Colter cited that they schedule movies in advance, while the TV side are filmed year around, Express reported.
"Captain America: Civil War" directors Anthony and Joe Russo stated in an interview that they are considering everyone in "Avengers: Infinity War" both movie and TV characters, and they wanted to surprise the audiences the best way they can.
Colter explained what makes that characters from Netflix series and the movies as he stated that their characters specifically The Defenders are adult oriented and not. Colter's concern is that having his character Luke Cage and the rest of the group in the movie will dilute them from what makes them unique the Netflix side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Defenders in the MCU will consist of Luke Cage, Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox) and Danny Rand/Iron Fist (Finn Jones). In addition, Elektra (Elodie Yung) and The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) are also being push for "Avengers: Infinity War".
In other news, it seems that one popular Marvel character is being teased for a big role in the plot of "Avengers: Infinity War".
Guardians of the Galaxy member Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) has been rumored to play a "sizable" role in the fight against Thanos (Josh Brolin) in "Infinity War". While, no details as what kind of role will Quill have in the movie, that fans speculated that he will be the first person to warn Earth's Mightiest Heroes of the threat Thanos poses in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will need there help in order stop him and seize all of the Infinity Stones, Screenrant reported.
Star-Lord and his crew will be returning to "Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2" and the possible plot details of "Avengers: Infinity War" is said to be based on the "Infinity Gauntlet" storyline, were in Thanos will murder haft of the universe to win the love of Death. Death in the MCU could be filled up by Hela, Goddess of Hel (Cate Blanchett) after the events of "Thor: Ragnarok".
"Avengers: Infinity War" is slated to be release on May 4, 2018, while the fourth film is scheduled on May 3, 2019.
