South Korean actor Lee Joon-Gi plays the lead character of 4th Prince Wang So in SBS's 'Scarlet Heart: Ryeo.'

Fans of Lee Joon-Gi are in for some treat. With only two episodes left, the 34-year-old Hallyu star has spoken about his future plans after "Scarlet Heart: Ryeo."

On Oct. 19, Korea's Singles magazine released Lee's recent pictorial for its November issue. Displaying a manly aura, the "Scholar Who Walks the Night" star sported a comfortable clothing in knitted sweaters and a pair of jeans.

In the accompanying interview with the magazine, as cited by Drama Fever,  Lee discussed his upcoming meet-and-greet event and future acting opportunities. He revealed that the preparations for the event, dubbed "My Love Lee Joon-Gi," took him about a month since he personally arranged all the activities and segments.

"I am grateful to all my fans," Lee replied when asked why he is extremely hands-on with the entire event. "I am trying hard to be together with them."

Much to the delight of many, the meet-and-greet event will allow fans to watch the finale episode of "Scarlet Heart: Ryeo" together with Lee. It is scheduled to take place on Nov. 1 at the Lotte World Tower Mall's Superplex G theater.

Though Lee is glad he met the entire cast and staff of the SBS historical drama, the Hallyu star is now ready to take a step forward. He will star next in the upcoming sci-fi action film "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter."

"It's just a special appearance," Lee stressed. "I think of it as a good experience. I have been acting for more than 10 years now, but there's still a lot I want to show everyone. I haven't met my true character yet. I hope to in the future."

In "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter," he will play Umbrella Corporation's Commander Lee, who holds a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo. His screen time will reportedly be around five to ten minutes long.

Though Lee is only making a short appearance in the final installment, his character is expected to go head-to-head against Alice (Milla Jovovich). In February, Lee detailed how he landed a special role in the sci-fi film.

Lee said director Paul W. S. Anderson muted a video footage of him acting and analyzed his faces and emotions before deciding to hire him, Korean style magazine Allure quoted the actor as saying, as cited by The Korea TimesCheck out Lee as 4th Prince Wang So in "Scarlet Heart: Ryeo" here:
