Halloween season is the time where people need to experience the horrors of the night in a fun way. One way to enjoy it is through playing several video games that have the theme of horror and suspense.

While there are numerous horror video games out there already, only a few of can truly terrify a player even though they know it is not real. Here are the top five horror video games to play this season.

5. "Fatal Frame"

"Fatal Frame" has always been a great classic horror video game on the PlayStation 2 era. This version has all of the major add-ons like Breakdown and Lifeline, and it has better graphics now in 1080p resolution.

It is the zombie apocalypse for this game's story, and it is up to the characters to survive and escape the town before it is too late for them. They will go through eight lengthy episodes that tell the story of what happened inside a cursed school. They will witness the horrors and the murders of the trapped students who tried to solve the mystery of the school, and also the ones who accidentally got inside it.
