Samsung Galaxy S6 And S6 Edge, Launched Together With Gear VR Head Set By Year End

Samsung will be releasing its Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge before the year ends and each of the devices will come with a brand new version of Samsung  Gear VR head set.  The head set is designed to fit both Galaxy S6 smart phones, the new Gear VR Innovator edition has the same immersive virtual reality experience just like the Note 4 however it shows better in performance and comfort.

Same as the Note 4, the latest version of Gear VR is a virtual reality headset that uses the smart phone as the display; in this case, the Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge. The said gadget has the same black and white aesthetic just the same as that of the Note 4 model; however it is 15 percent smaller to fit the new Galaxy S6 devices, according to Tom's Guide.

The Gear VR head set was created by Samsung with the help of Oculus, a company whose focus is to build virtual reality technology that's wearable and affordable. The latest VR to be released has been totally optimized to fit the compatibility with the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge smart phones.

The cut of the new Gear VR that will be released is a tad slimmer than its first model and the comfort feel is slightly better. The improved graphics is a great plus points and can now be powered through its USB port for more fun times it, TechGeek reported.

Samsung Australia, has confirmed that they will launch the same units in the country but no specified date was mentioned as of yet.

"The Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition will be launched in Australia in the coming months. We look forward to sharing more information closer to the launch date," Samsung Australia disclosed.
