Chris Hemsworth arrives at the Los Angeles Premiere of 'Thor' at the El Capitan Theater on May 2, 2011 in Hollywood, California.

Being in the spotlight isn't always pretty for celebrities like Chris Hemsworth. Oftentimes, their personal lives become the subject of public attention. In Hemsworth's case, he and his wife, Elsa Pataky, have to deal with divorce rumors that go out of control.  The "Thor: Ragnarok" star addressed the reports about his marriage earlier this week in a rather witty manner.

"Looking for a new wife according to (magazines) and other misleading outlets! Honey you still love me right?!" the 33-year-old captioned a photo of him and Pataky on Instagram. According to news.com.au, divorce rumors began to swirl after a news outlet claimed that Pataky's recent solo trip to Spain was a sign of marital woes in the Hemsworth-Pataky household.

The news outlet further claimed that Hemsworth and Pataky have been living separately, quoting a source, "They've decided they need space, and they've been taking a little break from each other."

Pataky also chimed in, and shared another happy couple photo on Instagram, which she captioned "Ahora y siempre! Always and forever!!"

Hemsworth and Pataky married in 2010 just after a few months of dating. Gushing about his marriage, Hemsworth said, "It just felt right."

"It made sense. There was no great plan to any of it to be honest, we were on holiday and we said, 'Why don't we get married, too?' And then the next minute...There probably should have been some planning, but it all worked out," E! News quoted Hemsworth. "Honestly, we had both our families on holiday at the same time, just randomly, and we said, 'This is a good opportunity with everyone together.' So, we just did it."

In another interview, Hemsworth described Pataky as outgoing and fun, and has a "passionate attitude toward life."

The couple have three children-daughter India Rose and sons Tristan and Sasha. Hemsworth called fatherhood his greatest achievement, and said his kids are "hilarious and insane and crazy. It's good."

In the meantime, Hemsworth is filming "Thor: Ragnarok" in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. "Thor: Ragnarok" is slated for theatrical release on Oct. 25, 2017. Hemsworth was recently seen in the 2016 remake of "Ghostbusters."
