It seems that Slade Wilson/Deathstroke's (Joe Manganiello) role in the "Justice League" movie has been revealed as "300" director Zack Snyder teased that DC's resident mercenary is in contact with Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) to take out Batman (Ben Affleck).
Snyder's storyboard will have Lurhor meeting Deathstroke in an office conference room were in eagled eyed viewers will see wearing an eyepatch and has a sword on their back, presumably Slade and other person that he is talking to is only seen from behind and he is bold, to which it could be Lex.
Luthor hires Deathstroke to kill Batman in his flying mobile base, the Flying Fox as a measure of revenge for foiling his plot to get rid of Superman (Henry Cavill) in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" and his rantings of an incoming enemy from space, which led to Bruce recruiting other metahumans to defend the planet, Cinemablend reported.
Deathstroke will also be present in the new Batman solos film directed by Ben Affleck.
In other news, Several rumors are making rouds regarding Mera's (Amber Heard) in the "Justice League" movie.
Mera is Atlantean warrior and love interest of Arthur Curry/Aquaman (Jason Momoa) in the DC comics, and is also the future queen of Atlantis. While it is probable that Mera will not have a large part in “Justice League,” she could play a vital role in the film’s plot.
It is speculated that Mera will be the one to convince Aquaman to join Bruce's team of metahumans to fight the invading aliens from Apokalips, led by Steppenwolf. Aquaman initially declined Bruce's offer to join the team as he does not want any part of it, but will likely change his mind as Atlantis could be in danger to the conflict, Washington Post reported.
Bruce Wayne will be recruiting metahumans along with Diana Prince/Wonder Woman during the "Justice League" film as its members include Aquaman, The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher).
Superman will return in the movie to help out Batman's team, as well as a rumored appearance from Green Lantern himself during the battle.
DC All Access reporter Jason Inman claimed that Hal Jordan could be the Green Lantern in "Justice League" and will be a full time member in the sequel.
