Newly-promoted club Cagliari Calcio (4-5-1, 13 points) and bottom three side US Citta di Palermo (1-6-3, 6 points) are set to square off in a 2016-2017 Serie A season encounter on Oct. 31, Monday at the Sant'Elia Stadium.

Start Time and Streaming Info

The game starts at 4:00 p.m. ET. It can be viewed live online thru FuboTV.

Cagliari has been mercurial in their last five matches as they are now on a two-game losing slide after winning three straight games. Head coach Massimo Rastelli's squad is now at the 14th spot of the 20-team Italian top flight table, six points above the bottom three relegation area and tied on points with Udinese, Bologna, and Sassuolo.

In their last game held at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Wednesday, Cagliari was crushed by contending team Lazio, 1-4, as per ESPN.

The Sardinians were not able to score any goals during the contest as their lone output was netted via an own goal from Lazio's Brazilian defender Wallace.

Senegalese forward Keita opened the scoring for the hosts in the sixth minute before Italian striker Ciro Immobile netted a brace in the 23rd and 28th. Completing the four-goal haul was Brazilian midfielder Felipe Anderson in the 79th.

Meanwhile, Palermo has been out of form all season long as they only registered one win in the first 10 rounds of the current term. Rosanero is on a three-game losing streak as they had been winless in their last five assignments.

Their most recent fixture ended in a 1-3 loss to lowly squad Udinese at the Renzo Barbera Stadium on Thursday, USA Today reported.

Head coach Roberto De Zerbi's side managed to score the opening goal in the 10th minute with a left-footed shot from Macedonian striker Ilija Nestorovski right in the center of the box.

However, it proved to be the lone goal of the Eagles as they conceded three in the 36th, 74th, and 79th minutes to Udinese courtesy of Frenchmen Cyril Thereau and Seko Fofana, who had a brace.

Palermo is at the 19th spot of the 20-team league table at the moment with only newly-promoted side Crotone having the worst record in the bottom of the standings.
