It is official. Following several rumors and paparazzi run-ins, Miley Cyrus has confirmed that she and Liam Hemsworth were, once again, engaged.

Cyrus and Hemsworth were previously engaged, but called it quits in September 2013. In early 2016, rumors started swirling that the pair is back together due to the reappearance of the engagement ring on the 23-year-old singer.

However, the two never publicly confirmed their engagement and have continued to keep mum about their real relationship status. Finally, "The Voice" coach broke her silence and shared details about her engagement ring during her appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Oct. 27.

"It's very weird, cause this is like real jewelry, and most of my jewelry is made out of gummy bears and cotton candy," Cyrus said when asked why she does not always wear the ring. "And, they don't look that good together 'cause they kind of mix up."

Cyrus then admitted sometimes she replace it with a Looney Tune character or an actual unicorn. The "Independence Day: Resurgence" actor tends to notice when she switches up the ring, adding "[Hemsworth's] kind of like, 'What's going on?' And I am like, 'Well, this isn't really my aesthetic, but I'll wear it 'cause you love me.'""

Rumor has it that Cyrus' ring cost around $100,000. It is a 3.5 carat cushion-cut diamond ring handmade in an 18-carat gold with a diamond floral design.

It may not be her typical style, but the engagement ring seemingly has serious sentimental value. A source told E! News that the engagement ring is special because Cyrus and Hemsworth worked on it together.

Specifically, the "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker wanted the engagement ring set in gold since it was distinctive and unique. The source added the singer did not want anything classic or generic.

Though the couple has yet to disclose when and where they will get married, sources claimed Cyrus and Hemsworth have cancelled their supposed honeymoon trip to Bora Bora. The former is entirely adamant about having a small and private ceremony, but the latter wants a big wedding, Us Weekly quoted an insider as saying.
