The OnePlus 4 or OnePlus 3T could be revealed soon after the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 tease.

OnePlus 4 might not reach the market until next year as the next phone from the company is expected to be the OnePlus 3T which may offer just small improvements over its predecessor.

The OnePlus 3 has shocked the world with its cheap price and outstanding specs for a mid to high-tiered smartphone. It is also the one of the many phones that OnePlus will freely sell to everyone across the world as they depart from their invite-only business model from several years ago.

OnePlus 4 Specs and Release Date

Reports from Weibo claim that the OnePlus 4 will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 chip with the processor running at 3GHz, The Indian Express has learned. In addition, it would be coupled with the Adreno 620 GPU which is expected to bring more power for rendering video games especially those who have heavy 3D assets.

Since the new Android version has been released by Google, the OnePlus 4 is also slated to release with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Users will also be glad to know that it would have 4000mAh in battery capacity.

TSMC is expected to manufacture the Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 chips which will power the OnePlus 4 and even the new Samsung Galaxy S8 flagship smartphones for 2017, BGR reported. Initially, Samsung was the one who supposedly wont the contract but the recent mishaps with the Galaxy Note 7 and the delay of delivery led to Qualcomm looking for another company.

OnePlus 3T is another new phone from the company but is not considered a flagship. It will have an upgraded Snapdragon 821 SoC plus Nougat out of the box. Of course, it is expected that it would have a higher price than the OnePlus 3 which has been released just several months ago.

Fans should just wait for the OnePlus 4 which is rumored to come with a 4K screen and 8GB RAM. It is expected to be rolled out sometime in 2017.
