The Community Returning Characters

TV series "Community" fans can finally breathe easily since Greendale is still as beautifully weird as ever, CBS News reported.

The producer of the hilarious series Yahoo Screen has released a trailer Tuesday for its sixth season, which will premiere on the streaming service this coming March 17.

The preview includes the returning favorite characters like Joel McHale who plays a lawyer turns student, Jeff Winger. Gillian Jacobs will resume as Britta Perry the politically interested and socially emphatic student who was often serves as the group's study escape goat as well as Alison Brie who portrays Annie Edison, the diligent and Type-A student of the gang and Jim Rash as Dean Pelton.

New faces were seen in the teaser as well like "Criminal Minds" veteran Paget Brewster and veteran actor Keith David.

Aside from the main characters above, Ben Chang or Senor Chang who is played by "The Hangover" star Ken Jeong and Danny Pudi as Abed Nadir were also returning.

Chevy Chase's character is still in question and there were no official announcement from Yahoo or the creators of the series on whether Pierce Hawthorne will come back.

According to Screen Crush, although Chase's character is still in question, chances are he won't be returning, but who knows. Aside from Chase, regulars Donald Glover and Shirley Bennett were also not included due to personal reason in the coming season.

The TV Series' creator was asked on Bennett's case, through an interview by TVGuide, he confirmed that Bennett opted not to sign for the upcoming season due to her father's failing health condition.

He said that she can't commit 16 hours a day for five months considering her dad's condition.

Nonetheless, Bennett is still not out of the TV series arena since she will be included in CBS' upcoming Matthew Perry led "Odd Couple" remake which requires a less demanding schedule from Bennett.
