The newest operating system Android 7.0 Nougat from Google has been all over the wire. Recently, the Lenovo owned company Motorola was reported to have plans of releasing the software update to its Moto G4 and G4 Plus handsets.
It was reported that the Indian Moto G4 and G4 Plus users are already into the process of obtaining their Android 7.0 OTA updates. It is also expected that they will be able to enjoy the Google's latest version of software very soon, Headlines and Global News reported. The over the air update is predicted to be sent out in batches and is reportedly not prioritized in any order. Motorola is expected to roll-out the Nougat 7.0 worldwide really soon.
Additionally, there is news that the soak test is being wrapped-up in the Brazilian region. It was also mentioned that it is really important for Motorola to make sure the latest updates are being released because the company is well-known worldwide making it one of the most indispensible smartphone makers in the market.
When it comes with the changes, the Android 7.0 Nougat is expected to bring the new Vulkan API. Aside from that, there is a new compiler and the app notification system can immediate let users take action of the same. Moreover, a split-screen feature is now automatically a part of the operating system.
Apart from the Moto G4 and G4 Plus, Neurogadget reported other Motorola handsets that are lined up to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update. The lists include: Moto Z, Moto G Plus, Moto G, Moto G Play, Moto X Pure Edition, Moto X Style, Moto X Play, Moto X Force, Droid Turbo 2, Droid Maxx 2, Moto Z Play, Moto Z Force Droid, Moto Z Play Droid and Moto Z Droid.
Unluckily, the Moto E3 Power as well as the Moto G (Gen 3) handsets that were released last year will not be able to receive the Nougat update. Also, Motorola doesn't publicized any exact schedule for the Android 7.0's release but many tech enthusiasts believe that the update is just around the corner.
