Liam Hemsworth attends the 10th Annual GO Campaign Gala on November 5, 2016 in Los Angeles, California.

It was only a few months ago since the Australian television drama series, "Wentworth," concluded its fourth installment. Although "Wentworth" Season 5 is still undetermined, recent reports claim that Kate Jenkinson, who plays the role of Allie Novak, might have confirmed that the series is on schedule for production.

It can be remembered that the season finale of the recent fourth installment showed how Bea died in the hands of Joan Ferguson (Pamela Rabe). After the unprecedented death, reports say that many fans were disappointed about the scene and were hoping that Bea might still be alive and will return in the unconfirmed "Wentworth" Season 5.

However, it seems that Cormack's character may no longer return to the series because the executive producer of the show, Jo Ported, said in an interview that it was tough for him to let go of Bea Smith. He added that the character is well-loved by the fans, and that the character's storylines had a strong impact on the series, News AU reported.

According to the same publication, the death of Bea Smith is not Cormack's decision like other actors on different shows that wanted to be written off. It was said that her case was different, as sources say that the producers wanted a dramatic ending that could drop the fans, which sources say was the reason why Season 4's finale of "Wentworth" went that way.

On the other note, Game N Guide claims that the some cast members of "Wentworth" may have confirmed that the series is ready for another season. It was said that Jenkinson, who plays the role of Bea Smith's lover Allie Novak, revealed in an interview that the production of "Wentworth" Season 5 is on schedule, and that the show could have a 2017 release date.

The same publication also cited the possible appearance of Liam Hemsworth ("Independence Day: Resurgence," "Hunger Games") in the series. The report said that Hemsworth already said that he would love to guest star in "Wentworth," and that he is a big fan of the show.

As of the moment, no official confirmation has been made in regards to the production of "Wentworth" Season 5.
