Microsoft introduces the latest Xbox Holiday Update for 2016.

The latest Xbox Holiday update has arrived and has added Clubs, Group Chat, Emojis, and many more. The new features were tested in Preview with Arena on Xbox Live.

According to the official website of Xbox, different types of apps will be rolling out with the latest Xbox Holiday update, which will be applied to the Xbox One and the Xbox app on Windows 10, iOS, and Android devices. The update will add Clubs, Looking for Group, Achievement Rarity, Group Messaging or Group Chat, Emojis, and many more. This will make it easier for players to find friends, find games, and communicate with each other with smileys.

Microsoft said that the latest update is built upon their vision to foster a welcoming experience on Xbox Live. They said that this is a place where everyone is included, respected, and supported.

The game company thanked the Preview members who tested the new features with the Arena on Xbox Live. They are planning to keep Arena in Preview through the holidays so that they can be sure it will be great when it launches in the future. They also thanked the members who have competed in the daily "Killer Instinct" tournaments over the past few weeks because they have gotten a lot of good feedback from them.

The game company revealed that they are excited about the potential of Arena, and they will continue to work with the developers to create the best experience for their fans. They will share more information once they will expand the feature and get closer to its release date.

Clubs on Xbox Live are gamer-created and managed groups that can help players meet other people and grow communities of gamers who want to do the same things as they do. Looking for Group or LFG helps them find other players that they want to play with. The Group Messaging will help players coordinate and keep in touch with their friends and fellow gamers by sending one message to everyone in a single conversation.

The Gamerscore Leaderboard has been improved on the Xbox One and the Xbox app on different Windows 10 devices with the latest update. Lastly, players can now send emojis on the virtual keyboard to express their likes, dislikes and more.

According to the official website of Google Play, the current version of the Xbox app is 3.1610.1108 and it requires Android 4.0 and up. For the iOS, the app is now version 3.1610.1113 and it requires the iOS 8.0 and up.
