'Dishonored 2' reviews: same gameplay, new powers and characters

"Dishonored 2" main protagonists Corvo and Emily fight side by side against the enemies in front of them.

"Dishonored" was released in 2012 and a lot of gamers gave a two thumbs up with this video game. Now, publisher Bethesda Softworks has released the next installment, "Dishonored 2."

Forbes had learned that "Dishonored 2" has some similarities with its predecessor, "Dishonored." Gamers will play as either Emily Kaldwin, the young girl from the "Dishonored" now all grown up, or as Corvo, the original's lead role. Users can play as either character but once they have made a choice from the very start of the game they have no choice but to play through.

TechRadar reported that the story of "Dishonored 2" happened 15 years after the end of "Dishonored." Emily Kaldwin who, as Royal protector Corvo Attano, gamers rescued in the first game, is now Empress, half-heartedly celebrating the anniversary of her mother's death which is the previous Empress.

But everything is unwell in Dunwall as someone known as the Crown Killer is free, hitting those who criticized Empress Emily, and the people who are directing the blame fairly at her and Corvo.

Then, during the ceremony itself, a revolution takes place as a woman calling herself Delilah Kaldwin, who claims to be Emily's older sister, snatches the throne and exhibits some tremendous magical powers in the process.

It is very obvious that "Dishonored 2" has one of the most appealing environmental design. Karnaca is very noticeable as it's a fabulous place to behold as well as being a great abode to hang out. It is a very lively, dodgy, colorful city despite the signs of imperial tyranny on its streets.

Additionally, everyone gamers will meet is doing something, rather than just roaming around. Also, explorations are incredibly rewarding as there are side-missions on offer that will help users to have a smooth path to the main-mission set-pieces, as well as resilient useful weaponry and items.

As the first installment of "Dishonored" has been a success, it is also predicted that "Dishonored 2" will receive two thumbs up from the gamers. Also based on the reviews this game has a lot of improvement compared to its predecessor.
