Apple's release of its new iteration of iPhone; the iPhone 7 was really a success. But then, the rumor mills are already spinning for the iPhone 8 that is believed to have a redesign according to some speculations.
BGR had learned that Apple's upcoming iPhone 8 seems to deliver its patrons radical iPhone redesign that they have been waited for so long. Over the past few months, there have been a lot of hearsays stating that Apple's iPhone 8 models will arrive featuring an edge-to-edge display. In addition with the current speculations, a new research report from analysts at Barclays Research stated that with the iPhone 8 Apple Inc. will announce iPhone models with a completely new form factor.
Additionally, News Everyday reported that the iPhone 8 moves to 5-inches from 4.7-inches and the Plus moves to 5.8"-inches from 5.5-inches. Based on the analysts, only the 5.8-inch iPhone 8 model will use OLED display technology which was reported to be more energy efficient than LCD technology. According to some news published before, Samsung and LG were tapped to supply OLEDs to Apple for one year, then to be joined by Foxconn-owned Sharp by 2018.
The said improvements supports the March 2016 report by KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who said the iPhone 8 would be boasting a curved OLED display and glass casing next year. Moreover, the Japanese website Nikkei described the iPhone 8 as a premium model that is positioned together with Apple's 4.7-inch and 5-inch iPhones with LCD displays.
Though, there have been a lot of speculations and rumors about the upcoming iPhone 8, Apple Inc. is not yet confirming anything about the device as of the moment. But then, the Cupertino-based company's patrons are still eagerly waiting with the updates that Apple will come up with the next iteration of iPhone.
