Dell Stack leaked render, specifications surface; Powerful Windows 10 phablet arriving in 2017?

In the previous week, Evan Blass, the well-known leakster had revealed some leaked photos of a new Windows 10 device powered by Intel processor. Now, he has revealed another leaked render of the alleged Dell Stack phablet placed on a Continuum dock.

Speculations about Dell Stack device started in 2014 and it was expected to release in 2017. According to Phone Arena, the device has been shelved. Hence, there is no confirmation on Dell Stack release date.

Dell Stack Specifications, Features, Leaked Renders

Dell Stack was rumored to come with 6.4 to 7.0-inch large screen with a full HD resolution of 1920 x1080 pixels. The device was expected to run Windows 10 operating system.

It was expected to be a powerful device as it was speculated to include an Intel X86 chipset that is usually used to power a desktop or laptop device.

It was supposed to come packed with the 4 GB to 8 GB of RAM. It was expected to come in storage versions of 128 GB and 256 GB along with expandable storage via microSD card.  On its rear, it was supposed to feature 8-megapixel camera whereas the front facing camera was rumored as 5-megapixel.

The newly leaked photo revealed by Evan Blass, the Windows 10 enabled device would help users to carry their projects with them and by using a dock its content can be seen a larger screen along with a keyboard.
Users will be able to make phone calls via VOIP apps such as Skype or Hangout. The other slot that can be seen on the dock might have been present for extra removable battery

The leaked not only shows the usual hardware design from Dell but also an audio jack be seen on one of its sides, Win Beta reported. The phablet was expected to come with a thickness of 9 mm.

As mentioned above, Dell had planned to launch the Stack phablet in 2017. Even though fresh information state that the device has been cancelled, there is still hope that it may get announced next year.

Windows 10 Mobile still lacking in competition from Android and iOS powered devices. Speculations suggest that Microsoft will release Surface Phone in 2017 to take on high-end flagship smartphones from leading brands.
