Finalized Pangu iOS 10 Jailbreak Release in December as Apple Tipped to Soon Deploy Version 10.2?

Apple unveiled its mobile operating system, iOS 10, during WWDC 2016.

Apple will reportedly make public iOS 10.2 no later than December and the move is likely to generate speculations on the next jailbreaking tool. If true that the next big iOS update is happening soon, will Team Pangu release its finalized version of iOS 10?

CNET said that iOS 10.2, currently on public beta two, is likely to debut around December with new features and bug fixes that will be "worth the upgrade." But it is the bug fixes that concern more the jailbreak community. With the preview provided by Apple, is a jailbreak solution already on the way?

Rumors say Team Pangu has the preliminary works for the next jailbreak and to complete the tool, the Chinese hacking team is just waiting for next big iOS jump. The release did not happen with versions 10.1 and 10.1.1 so jailbreak fans can only hope that 10.2 coming out in December is the right moment that the group is waiting for.

But for many, the question is: Is Pangu working on a jailbreak for iOS 10? True the team showed off months ago that Apple's latest mobile OS can be jailbroken - Cydia was demoed running on iOS 10 and that triggered expectations that the JB tool will soon come out.

And it did not happen as the Chinese hackers just maintained radio silence until now. Yet hopes remain that an iOS 10 jailbreak will become reality, fired up even more by the recent update from Luca Todesco. The dev again showed proof that the iPhone 7 and the software running the device can be modified. He shared images of iOS 10.1.1 in jailbroken state, which according to him is backward compatible with version 10.1.

Then there is this new jailbreak, according to Game 'N' Guide, that came from a new provider known as Unlock-Jailbreak Team but there are concerns for security and rightfully so. After all, the jailbreak is not from the usual source that excitement and acceptance of the tool is at a very minimum level.

Additionally, no familiar names like iH8sn0w or TaiG that are attached with the jailbreak so it's hard to trust the JB tool for now. As stated earlier by Cydia creator Saurik, the only credible jailbreak he could vouch for is that of Team Pangu's and that the devs are definitely working on something.

What's keeping them from wrapping up is unknown for now but it could be that when iOS 10.2 is released in the next few weeks, Team Pangu will finalize its iOS 10 jailbreak and press the release button.
