Motorola might be close to releasing the new Moto X 2017 and the Moto Turbo 3 as leaked photos have surfaced around the Internet.

While everyone is busy fiddling with the LG V20 or returning the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, other Android fans are waiting on a new Motorola release. Two new leaks have surfaced and they feature what could be the Moto X 2017 and the Moto Turbo 3 which are both highly anticipated models.

Chinese micro-blog website Weibo has seen a leaked render photo of what could be the Moto Turbo 3, Phones Review UK has learned. The renders show the back and side of the device which is also shown to have a metallic finish and a beveled camera.

Motorola's Moto Turbo 3 could still feature a QHD screen and at least 4GB RAM since the Moto Turbo 2 had 3GB of RAM. It could also feature a 4000mAh battery compared to the 3760mAh on the previous iteration of the smartphone.

An all-metallic design is expected but that would equate to a heavy smartphone. There could be some compromises in the corners and the bumper itself similar to how the LG V20 was designed.

Moto X 2017 photos were also leaked online which shows a front-mounted fingerprint sensor, Trusted Reviews reported. The leaked images show Lenovo branding which could be confusing since Motorola said before that they will be continuing the Moto brand despite being acquired by the former.

Moto Z and Moto G will still be designed by Motorola which means that the Moto X might really be designed by Lenovo instead. Moto X 2017 specs are still vague at the moment but it could feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset or 830 next year.

Leaked photos and renders should be taken with a grain of salt. Moto Turbo 3 and Moto X 2017 could be announced soon by the company.
