The Android 7.0 Nougat roll out has finally started. After hitting to devices to Moto G4 and G4 Plus, it is now available as beta for Galaxy S7, S7 Edge and LG G5.
Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge
Samsung has released the beta version of Android 7.0 Nougat for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users in South Korea. To get it, users need to enroll in the Samsung Beta Program app available on Google Play Store.
The Android 7.0 Nougat beta is also expected to be available for Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users in the U.S., the U.K. and China are also expected starting from Nov. 9. The beta program will end at the mid of December, Sam Mobile reported. The update is expected to bring along the latest Grace UX.
LG G5
The LG G5 users in the South Korea are now able to download and install Android 7.0 Nougat update, The Verge reported. The update is expected to be available for North and South America, Asia and other regions "in the weeks to come."
Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus
The Nougat update for Moto G4 and G4 Plus users began in the previous month. Motorola is now expected to soon begin the roll out Nougat update for its other 2016 devices such as Moto Z and Moto Z Force.
Sony Xperia X Performance
Sony is expected to soon begin Android 7.0 Nougat beta update for Xperia X Performance users who enrolled for the Xperia Beta Program. Speculations suggest that the company's newest flagship Sony Xperia XZ may get Android 7.0 Nougat before the end of the year.
HTC 10
HTC has confirmed that the unlocked HTC 10 would be getting Nougat upgrade by Q4 this year. The arrival of the update seems imminent as an HTC 10 running on Android 7.0 Nougat was founded listed on GFXBench benchmarking site. The Taiwanese company has also confirmed that it will be also releasing Nougat update to HTC One M9 and One A9 smartphones.
