Taylor Swift's "sexual assault" photo that she referenced violated her in a way she never expected is now going viral. The "Bad Blood" hitmaker has sued a former DJ for groping her behind in one of the fan meet-and-greet events in June 2013.
The controversial picture shows Swift, posing with a woman and Colorado's 98.5 KYGO's former DJ David Mueller with his hand placed behind the singer. Swift filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Mueller and asked a judge to conceal the photo to avoid the prejudice of a potential jury, TMZ reported.
Sadly, not all of the photos were sealed, including Swift's deposition in July, E! Online reported. As a consequence, a copy of the picture was distributed online. The publication acquired a copy of a document and transcript of her videotaped deposition that describes clearly what she experienced.
"Right as the moment came for us to pose for the photo, he took his hand and put it up my dress and grabbed onto my ass cheek and no matter how much I scooted over it was still there," Swift said."It was completely intentional, I've never been so sure of anything in my life."
Swift's bodyguard provided a deposition that supported her testimonies. The bodyguard confirmed that Mueller took advantage of the "Blank Space" singer by putting his arm around her and lifting her skirt.
Mueller sued the singer and remained firm that he did not touch her behind, and there is no truth behind the distributed "sexual assault" photo. In his lawsuit, he blamed Swift for her "false accusations," saying that he lost his job as a DJ.
As a result, Swift filed a counter lawsuit against Mueller for assault and battery. In her deposition, she recalled that she felt frantic, distressed, violated and stunned.
Swift promised that if she won in the jury trial, she will donate the entire amount to the charitable institutions that support women who were victimized by sexual assault.
Two days before Swift's "sexual assault" photo leaked online, a stalker of the singer was arrested in Austin, Texas after the man named Frank Andrew Hoover followed the singer in Texas during her concert. Check out Swift's picture in this video:
