Election Night Michael Moore Predicts Donald Trump Success Winning 2016 Election

Award-winning filmmaker Michael Moore attempted to confront President-elect Donald Trump in the Manhattan Trump Tower Saturday morning. He came with a camera behind him, and broadcasted it live on Facebook.

"I just thought I'd see if I could get into Trump Tower and ride the famous escalator," said Moore when asked what he was doing in the tower. He was hoping that he would be able to talk to Trump. He, however, barely made it to the fourth floor and was stopped by the Secret Service, Washington Post reported.

Moore joined protesters in New York before making his way to the Donald's Central Park skyscraper, and then to the Trump office. Before getting escorted to the lobby, he made sure to leave a note for Trump. "You lost. Step aside," the note said.

"It went well. They didn't kick me out," Moore said. He had been an active critic since the election, and had openly voiced out his protests along with other Hollywood celebrities.

In an interview last month, Moore called Trump supporters "legal terrorists", the Daily Mail reported. He was criticized and was under fire due to his comment. Moore compared the then presidential nominee to a pedophile and said that Trump supporters will "participate in the detonation" because he will "blow up the system.

The filmmaker also produced a monologue that mocked the Republican nominee and endorsed Hillary Clinton. According to Moore, a Trump victory would be "the biggest f--- you ever recorded in human history."

Approximately 2,000 protesters rallied in Fifth Avenue in Manhattan to protest against Trump. They shouted "not my president" and other slogans against the President-elect. The protesters rallied at New York's Union Square first before taking their steam up towards the Trump Tower.

Flag waving, cheers and chants dominated Saturday's rally, which stretched all the way to the Civic Center. The overall mood was rather angry, but there were no reports of violence.
