Forget OnePlus 3T – OnePlus 4 Set for June 2017 Release Date with Confirmed Flagship Killer Features

OnePlus 4 is rumored to come out in early 2017.

It could be that release date of the OnePlus 3T is happening real soon as reports suggest that the OnePlus 3 is now out of stock. However, Android fans may want to skip on 3T as the rumored OnePlus 4 seems becoming a reality by the day and the latest information indicate that the flagship killer will be worth the wait.

WCCFTech reported that the OnePlus 3 is currently unavailable for purchase and the likely reason is that OnePlus would want buyers to get instead the 3T, which is touching down real soon. Or OnePlus fans can simply wait for a few more months as freshly leaked details from Asia hints of an early 2017 rollout, likely before the onset of summer, for the beastly OnePlus 4.

And true to its reputation as flagship killer, the OnePlus 4, according to Android Pure, will be made of glass or the nearly same build and design rumored for Apple's iPhone 8 and Samsung's Galaxy S8. The screen will measure 5.3-inch and will boast of the OnePlus signature Super AMOLED rendering in 2K screen resolution. The latter should be reason enough for fans of the brand to hold out as reports say that the 3T will unbox not with AMOLED display but with IPS LCD.

The same report also claimed that the OnePlus 4 will have a rear shooter with dual camera settings and tweaked for augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR) features.

Buyers will have two OP4 options to pick from - one is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 830 with 6GB of RAM. Or they can go for the monster version, supposedly fired by the enhanced Snapdragon 835 chip with 8GB of RAM support. All models will draw power juice from a massive 4000mAh battery, the report said.

As mentioned, the exact rollout time is yet to be provided but OnePlus is expected to introduce its 2017 flagship killer around summertime of June at the latest.

It may seem that the few months of waiting time will take forever but when considering the known specs and features for the OnePlus 3T so far, described at best as slight jump from the OnePlus 3, then being patient for now might just pay off.

And the OnePlus 3T sticker price, said to be $480, could prove as the deal breaker as reports indicate that like the OP3 the OnePlus 4 will have the same introductory price on release date - $400.
