Lee Min-Ho and Jun Ji-Hyun star in the SBS drama 'The Legend of the Blue Sea.'

With only one day left until the premiere of SBS' "The Legend of the Blue Sea," lead actor Lee Min Ho held a live video session on Naver's V-app. There, the 29-year-old Hallyu star interacted with fans and expressed his thoughts on his comeback drama.

Lee revealed the factors why he chose to star in "The Legend of the Blue Sea." The Hallyu star said he chose the SBS drama as his comeback project because it is penned by screenwriter Park Ji-Eun, whose previous works include 2013-2014's "My Love From the Star."

"The Heirs" actor also talks about his co-star Jun Ji-Hyun and how the beginning of their working relationship was like. He admitted it was awkward at first, but after a certain point, he and Jun became close to the point that they would laugh just by looking at each other.

"I wish that we would get over 30 percent in viewer ratings," All Kpop quoted Lee as saying. "It would be nice if we got about 12 to 13 percent for our first broadcast."

In the new Wednesday-Thursday drama, Lee plays the son of a county magistrate, Kim Dam-Lim, during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1897). In the present time, he will transform into a cold-blooded man, Heo Joon-Jae, who uses his looks and wit to conduct scams.

The "My Sassy Girl" actress, on the other hand, plays the last mermaid on Earth, Shim Chung, who struggles to adapt to a human life after she arrives in Seoul from the Joseon era. Just recently, the official Facebook account of SBS posted a 22-long teaser, which showed the moments after Kim Dam-Lim got drowned in the sea.

"The released teaser is just the start as we plan to simultaneously show how Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji Hyun have perfectly absorbed into their characters," a member of the production staff told local newsoutlet OSEN. "They will be transformed in a way that is new, fresh, and unlike anything you've seen before."

"The Legend of the Blue Sea" will begin airing on Nov. 16 at 10:00 PM (KST). Watch the second trailer here:
