AAPL seen to soar with all-glass iPhone 8 2017 release

iPhone 8 may finally debut the edge-to-edge screen display that Apple has been holding back for years. An edge-to-edge screen display has been rumored to arrive in Apple smartphone for quite sometime, but fans were disappointed with the iPhone release until now.

Barclays supply chain analysts believed that the next iPhone will have a bezel-less design, which has been rumored since 2014. However, this year, analysts think that the edge-to-edge screens will arrive in two iPhone 8 variants in 2017 - 5-inch and 5.8-inch screens.

It is suspected that Apple might just release a revolutionary iPhone next year marking the 10th-year anniversary of the device. Popular Apple analyst from KGI Securities, Ming-Chi Kuo, said that the iPhone 8 release will mark the biggest change in the company's smartphone for years.

"We look for new 2017 iPhones to come in three models: one OLED model, and two TFT-LCD models with a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch display. We believe the OLED and 5.5-inch TFT-LCD iPhones will feature [a] dual-camera. Based on this prediction, our forecast of dual camera adoption rate in new 2017F iPhone models is revised up from 30-40 percent to 65-75 percent. We view this increase as favouring Largan's sales and profit momentum as it is the exclusive supplier of a wide-angle and telephoto lens. It also bodes well for Apple's dual camera software ecosystem," Kuo said.

Rumor has it that Apple will incorporate the OLED display in next year's phone. Some of the conflicting rumored features of the three variants of the 'iPhone 8' expected to come out next year are: 4.7-inch iPhone with LCD display and the single camera, 5.5-inch iPhone model with LCD display and dual camera and 5.5-inch iPhone model with OLED display and dual camera.

Meanwhile, Apple has not made an official comment on iPhone 8. Watch the video of the purported iPhone 8 below.
