West Brom has struggled in the past couple of rounds but has snapped a five-game winless spell with a 2-1 win over defending champions Leicester City on the road at the King Power Stadium on Nov. 6 just before the international break, via Daily Mail Online.

After a goalless first half of play, Welsh midfielder James Morrison scored the opening goal for the Baggies with a header in the 52nd minute off a cross by compatriot and fellow midfielder Matt Phillips.

The Foxes were able to equalize the count just three minutes later with a header by Algerian striker Islam Slimani off an assist from his compatriot as well, midfielder Riyad Mahrez.

It was followed by a tough back-and-forth attacks from the two sides until Phillips was able to hit what proved to be the winning goal in the 72nd minute off a defensive error by Leicester midfielder Danny Drinkwater.

Meanwhile, Burnley pulled off a 3-2 upset win over Crystal Palace at their home stadium of Turf Moor on Nov. 5, as per Goal.

Welsh striker Sam Vokes opened the scoring right in the second minute of the match. The lead was immediately doubled by Icelandic winger Johann Berg Gudmundsson in the 14th to give the hosts a 2-0 lead at the break.

Palace tried to come back in the second half with two straight goals, courtesy of English forward Connor Wickham and Belgian striker Christian Benteke in the 60th and 81st minute respectively.

It looked like the game will end in a 2-2 draw after full-time was reached, but Austrian striker Ashley Barnes scored the winner for head coach Sean Dyche's squad to snatch away the win and three points in the standings.
