Pokemon Go: Tips to catch Ditto - Spearow, Magikarp, Zubat, Rattata, Pidgey transform into Ditto

If reports are anything to go by, the Pokemon Ditto has been released into the wild in the game.

Here's what players should to find the Pokemon.

In Pokemon Go, Ditto is easy to catch. At present, gamers are finding Ditto everywhere. The creature has been released in nations throughout the world. Also, the Pokemon is appearing in several different species too.

If players want to find Ditto, they should not be picky about who they are trying to catch. The creature has been reported in Rattata and Pidgey together with other species.

According to reports, there is no outward indication in the wild that a species is really a Ditto. Pokemon Go players will not know till they catch Ditto.

Therefore, instead of being careful about who they are capturing, players should try to capture any Pokemon species that they come across.

The Pokemon appears to be more plentiful in Zubat, Pidgey and Rattata. However, Ditto can likely transform from any species.

Therefore, if Pokemon Go players come across a Pidgey or Rattata, they should not delay. Gamers should try to capture whichever species they discover, and they will likely end up with a the Pokemon before they know it.

They can catch more than one Ditto, battle with the creature in a Pokemon gym, and make him their Buddy.

Two km species are the most commonly creatures that transform into Ditto. Spearow, Magikarp, Zubat, Rattata and Pidgey are the most common transformations, according to The Silph Road. Nidoran, Doduo, Snorlax, Ekans, Mankey, Paras, Venonant and Metapod are less common but reported transformations.

Meanwhile, if players have observed that the Sightings feature in the game is suddenly gone, they are not alone. It is part of a new change that the developer has made to Pokemon Go.

Now, several gamers have the Nearby tracker enabled that they have been waiting on for a long time. However, several Pokemon Go gamers are reporting that they cannot find the Sightings feature anymore.

The Nearby tracker shows creatures who are at closeby Pokestops. It drills down to precisely where the creatures are, showing gamers on a map. However, the feature does not show creatures in the wild.

According to Niantic Labs, it has changed the feature to show the Nearby tracker if a PokeStop is close to a player's location.

Also, the developer has made changes to the way Sightings works. Changes seem to mean that a few players no longer see the Sightings feature at all or only if the creature is near enough to show up on their screen.
