Drake shares similar fate with Taylor Swift in an Apple Music commercial

Rapper Drake accepts Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist onstage during the 2016 American Music Awards at Microsoft Theater on November 20, 2016 in Los Angeles, California.

Canadian rapper Drake filmed an ad that appears as a response to one of Taylor Swift's previous Apple Music ad which got a nod from the "Bad Blood" singer. In her previous ad, Swift sang too hard to Drake and Future's "Jumpman" while working out on a treadmill where she drastically fell off.

In a video clip which came out on Nov. 20, Sunday, Drake filmed his own ad, lip-synching and moving to one of Swift's popular tracks. In the clip which debuted during the American Music Awards 2016, the rapper was in the gym with his instructor lifting weights while listening to hip-hop. When the trainer exits the room, he switched to the playlist "Pop Workout" on his iPhone and played "Bad Blood."

The 30-year-old Toronto native then danced and flexed before the mirror with Swift's sound, so pumped up that he even attempted a very heavy weight while bench pressing. As he was busy belting the lyrics, he dropped the weight, fell off the bench and no one knows what his eventual fate was as he grimaced with pain. Then the ad text appeared - "Distractingly good."

Drake has a good record with Apple Music exclusives while Swift has been in several commercials with the service. The latter reacted to the video where the rapper's fate was the same as hers. On her Instagram account, she posted his new commercial on Nov. 20, Sunday, and captioned it with "YES."

Romance has been ignited between the two music artists since they were seen spending time together recently. The songstress popped up on his birthday in October and the dating rumors were triggered when the two "flirted" during the event. However, the rapper was spotted as equally flirty with other women at the Halloween bash, according to Page Six.

Aside from reportedly working on a project together, Drake and Swift are now both being featured by Apple Music commercials. Though the singer seemingly fuelled the dating rumors with the hashtag #Draylor associated with his new ad, there is no romance between him and her since they are just friends, US Weekly reported.
