Kelly Clarkson was fat-shamed recently by a British woman named Katie Hopkins as she tweeted about Clarkson's appearance at "The Graham Norton Show" and in an interview, Hopkins explains that it's coming from a positive outlook.

According to reports, Hopkins was known as the most hated woman in Britain last February and her tweet lives up to her image. Here's what she wrote: "Jesus, what happened to Kelly Clarkson? Did she eat all of her backing singers? Happily I have wide-screen. #grahamnorton." ABC News shares that Hopkins started to get her reputation as a bad person while she was on "The Apprentice UK".

Due to this, the fans of Clarkson felt the need to comment on Hopkins' comment but it seems that it did not work. She took it again to her Twitter account calling Clarkson's fans chubsters. She added that Clarkson had a baby a year ago so she is not suffering from post-baby weight and it's possibly due to carrot cake.

According to E! News, Clarkson did not follow Hopkins on Twitter so she did not know about her rude comments. She only knew about it when she was interviewed by Heat magazine and the three-time Grammy award winner had nothing but kind words to say.

She noted that Hopkins probably said what she said because she did not know her personally. Clarkson adds, "I'm awesome! It doesn't bother me. It's a free world. Say what you will. I've just never cared what people think. It's more if I'm happy and I'm confident and feeling good, that's always been my thing."

She also gave a shout out to her family noting that because of them, she no longer seeks for other peoples' acceptance.

However, despite the recent statement of Clarkson, Hopkins said in another interview that Clarkson is a chunky money and that she needs to get out there and push the stroller in order to keep that weight off. She also said that her comments against Clarkson is not negative at all because her fans who support her in gaining wait just makes other people feel they are slimmer than her. Also, she added that Clarkson's daughter, River Rose, should not grow up thinking that being fat is okay and healthy.
