HTC Bolt is the latest smartphone from the Taiwanese-based company HTC Corporation.

HTC is set to unveil the latest addition to its smartphone line with the new HTC 11. Given the recent release of the HTC Bolt, some tech fans are torn whether to wait for the upcoming mobile phone or avail of the company's current model.

The HTC 10 evo, also known as the HTC Bolt in the U.S., recently made its debut in the American mobile phone market. Exclusively available through the carrier Sprint, the said smartphone boasts of an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, including a 3G RAM.

With a 5.5 inch screen, the HTC Bolt has a Gorilla Glass 5 display and a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Similar to the HTC 10, the said smartphone has a fingerprint scanner, an 8-megapixel front camera and dust resistant features, according to Android Police.

A MicroSD slot also allows the HTC Bolt's memory to be expanded up to 32GB. With a Quick Charge feature, HTC utilized a 3200mAh battery to power the smartphone.

HTC designers and technicians may have added some enhancements to the HTC Bolt, however, the upcoming HTC 11 is expected to include better features. The upcoming smartphone may boast of improved camera sensors and additional photography settings, according to Phone Radar.

Apart from enhanced camera features, the mobile phone is expected to have an all metal body, as well as a 5.5-inch curved display. With the impending release of the new Snapdragon 830 processor, the HTC 11 will be faster than its predecessors, the HTC 10 and the HTC Bolt.

Moreover, the Taiwanese-based company's upcoming new smartphone is also speculated to sport a bigger battery than the HTC Bolt's 3200mAh. Meanwhile, HTC designers are said to be looking at introducing dual rear cameras to the HTC 11.

At this time, it is still unsure if the rumored specifications for the HTC 11 are accurate. The Taiwanese firm has yet to divulge details about its upcoming smartphone unit. However, with the speculated improvements to the said mobile phone, some HTC fans may have opted to wait for the unit's release instead of getting an HTC Bolt.
