Before the slated December release of the new Meizu Pro 7 smartphone, tagged as one of the closest competitor of Xiaomi's Mi Mix edgeless smartphone line, leaked renders showing the upcoming flagship smartphone have appeared online, offering projected Pro 7's features and specs.

The latest renders came from a famous leaker @kjuma, who shared images on Meizu Pro 7's specs, which could be a unique combination of iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S7. According to VR-Zone, the phone is tipped to have a dual-curved display with Super AMOLED panel sourced from Samsung, while the device carries an iPhone-like design on the outside.

Following the leaked images, a home button at the bottom, which is similar to the one on the MX4, along with a multi-window feature was spotted. More incoming sketches on the said device also revealed the unit's 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port and an attached speaker grill right below the device, CTimes reported.

Meanwhile, the back panel of the device appears to sport a purported single camera instead of a dual-camera setup. The device will be equipped with either a 5MP or 8MP front camera, while it boasts a 12MP rear camera.

In addition, a recent AnTuTu benchmark listing reveals more specs and features of Meizu Pro 7. It suggests that the phone will sport a 5.62-inch super active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) in 2560×1440 resolution display and curved screen, encased in 6.5mm thinness.

As per its internal chassis, the phone, which was earlier rumored to equip the Samsung Exynos 8890 processor, is now believed to be powered by the Huawei Kirin 960 octa-core SoC backed by 4GB of RAM. Other rumors suggest that the device will have a Mali G-71 Vulkan-enabled GPU and the new Cortex-A73 CPU with the Kirin 960 chipset.

One of the notable changes on the Meizu Pro 7 is its mCharge 4.0 technology. This feature promotes fast charging with only 40 minutes or under. The smartphone's security suite is also improved after developers installed an ultrasonic biometric fingerprint scanner. Similar to other smartphones in the market, the Meizu Pro 7 can be locked or unlocked via user's fingerprint.

The upcoming Meizu Pro 7 will be launching on Dec. 24 at an estimated 2,699 to 3,099 Yuan or $300 to $400 price tag.
