Guests attend the Microsoft Xbox One launch party at the Microsoft Center on November 21, 2013 in Berlin, Germany.

Gamers who owned "Medal Of Honor: Airborne" and "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" for Xbox 360 can now play them again using the Xbox One console because these titles, along with "Trine 2" and "Astropop," have just been added to the Xbox Backward Compatibility list.

"The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" made waves 10 years ago when Bethesda released it on the Xbox 360. Although it is not as visually stunning as the remastered version of "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim," this could be the right time to finally complete any achievement that got away years ago.

EA's "Medal Of Honor: Airborne" is almost as old as "Oblivion," and gaming fans can once again make Pfc. Boyd Travers charge into the European theater of World War II.  It is the only game in the series that focuses on paratrooper activities.

As announced on Twitter by Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb of Xbox, Microsoft Studios'  XBLA puzzler "Astropop" and Frozenbyte's side-scroller "Trine 2" are also included in the latest batch of releases.

Digital copy owners of any these games should see them under the Ready Download list, while gamers with the physical disc can simply pop them into the Xbox One system to enjoy them once again. Alternatively, the games are also available to download anytime from the Xbox Marketplace. "Oblivion," "Airborne," and "Trine 2" cost $15 each and "Astropop" is priced at $10.

In November, the Xbox One Backward Compatibility list gained 24 new games. There are now 295 Xbox 360 games listed that can be played and enjoyed on the current generation Microsoft video game console. This is only a fraction of the game ecosystem for the last generation console, so fans can expect more Backward Compatible titles in the months to come.

In related news, December 2016's Games with Gold for the the Xbox One include "Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition" ($30), available for the whole month, and "Outlast" ($20), available from Dec. 16 until Jan. 15.  For both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, "Outland" ($10) can be downloaded from Dec. 1 to 15 and "Burnout Paradise" ($15) will be ready on Dec. 16 until Dec. 31, according to BGR.
