BLACKPINK Lisa dances to Beyonce’s ‘Formation’ in “Weekly Idol” deleted scene

BLACKPINK Lisa proved she is the new queen of the dance floor in a deleted scene from the group's guest appearance in "Weekly Idol".

Lisa Manoban, the only foreigner in the group, showed off her dance skills in the variety show as she danced on Beyonce's "Formation". Lisa was full of swag dancing to the hip-hop beat and the other members cheered her on. It was probably cut because it lacked explosive reaction.

In the said variety show, Rose, Jisoo, and Lisa also had a dance off in the tunes of "Good Boy" and "Ringa Linga". Among the three, Lisa is dubbed as the best dancer.

Before joining YG Entertainment at the young age of 14, Lisa is a part of a dance troupe in Thailand with GoT7's member BamBam. She ranked first at the YG auditions in 2011 and immediately joined the agency. Her profile also revealed that she is the main dancer of the group often taking the center position and dance breaks.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK are indeed the new icons of Korea, according to Japanese magazine NYLON. The girl group will grace the cover of the magazine for its January 2017 issue. The magazine praied the new YG girl group for dominating the music industry in South Korea just months after their debut. The BLACKPINK members will showcase Korea's fashion for the upcoming spring, according to Soompi.

However, Fans may start to see more of BLACKPINK in other shows other music programs soon.

In an interview with Ilgan Sports, BLACKPINK was asked why they do not appear in shows other than music programs, to which main rapper Jennie Kim answered, "We want to show a perfect performance to make up for the long time (six years) we have been practicing as trainees. So we want to actively take part in music programs. We believe that we can join other shows once we can showcase our perfect performances on stage."
