Lelouch Vi Britannia Death.

Lelouch Lamperouge of "Code Geass" is expected for a comeback as "Code Geass" Season 3 is set to be released come 2017. And as early as now, spoilers, rumors, and news update of "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection" proliferate the internet.

If you will not be counting the OVA or spin-offs, then it would almost be more than 8 years that anime fans have seen a follow-up of the hit Sunrise anime series, "Code Geass." That is why the main character Lelouch Lamperouge, whose real name is Lelouch vi Britannia, has been widely anticipated for his return come the Season 3 of the said anime.

Although, there has still no confirmation coming from the anime studio, it has been widely presumed and mentioned by rumors that the main protagonist will be alive. Thus, having a title "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection."  Anime News Network also hinted that the no alternate dimension version or clone will be in the new project. Thus, giving the strong impression that Lelouch is indeed still alive.

In retrospect, the death of Britannia as portrayed at the ending of "Code Geass R2" was highly debated by anime fans. Others claim that it was indeed Lelouch who died during the said scene.

While the presumed resurrection of the character in the upcoming "Code Geass Season 3" is good news for most fans, some are not in favor to it. They believed that it will ruin the classic ending of the anime as depicted in the death of the main character. Still, there is no certainty on how the anime will introduce or reintroduce characters from its previous season. Guess we would just have to wait and see.

In a much related news, during the announcement of the return of "Code Geass," it was also mentioned that a movie compilation will be made according to Otakumode. Based on reports, the three-part film series will recap all 50 episodes of the original "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion" series and the "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2" sequel series.
