Evan Rachel Wood as Dolores in the trailer for the "Westworld" season 1 finale

The "Westworld" Season 1 finale airs this Dec. 4, Friday. Very little is still known about the last episode and what twists audiences will discover but actress Evan Rachel Wood gives a few tantalizing hints of what's to come.

Speaking to IndieWire, the actress confirmed she would be returning for Season 2. This would allude to her character, Dolores, surviving the events of the finale or at least getting repaired if she dies. Like many of the characters on the show she can return even after getting killed since Dolores is a sentient android.

"I know a little about what's coming in Season 2. I know how our ending for season 1 will segue into season 2," she explained. I think it was always that season 1 was going to be this backstory and set up. I think season 2 is really going to be warp speed. The show might really start in season 2."

According to Vanity Fair, these statements support a previous statement by series creators Jonathon Nolan and Lisa Joy. At the time, the duo explained the Season 1 finale would answer many of the lingering mysteries while still opening the doors for the events of Season 2.

When asked if she read fan theories, she stated she only went through a few of them. She further explained that the cast made their own theories during production and it turns out three of her guesses were correct. However, all three have not yet been revealed on the show meaning they will unravel during the finale.

The actress also explained that one moment in the show that really stood out to her was when Dolores takes her pistol and shoots down five Confederatos trying to harm William (Jimmi Simpson). She stated she was so accustomed to running and getting to play a character that stood and fought was important.

This would also play into the final episode. Wood explains that as the show progresses Dolores has changed from a domestic damsel into someone who took matters into her own hands. By episode 10, Dolores is stated to make people "get up on their seats and clap."
