Osasuna is currently on a four-game losing streak to remain in the bottom of the 20-team Spanish top flight table. They are one point below 19th-place squad Granada after 14 rounds of matches.

In their most recent game on Sunday, Los Rojillos were romped by fellow bottom three squad Sporting Gijon, 1-3, on the road at the El Molinon Stadium, as per ESPN.

Sporting scored the first three goals of the contest, courtesy of a brace from Spanish midfielder Carlos Carmona in the 43rd and 78th minutes and one from Brazilian defender Douglas in the 56th, before Osasuna captain Miguel Flaño was able to net a consolation goal in the 86th.

It was the ninth loss of the season for head coach Joaquín Caparrós' side, who was promoted from the Segunda Division last season via playoffs.

Meanwhile, defending champions Barcelona settled to a 1-1 draw with arch-rivals and current league leaders Real Madrid in an El Clásico at their home field of Camp Nou last Saturday, SkySports reported.

After a tight and goalless first half of action where both sides had a lot of chances, Uruguayan striker Luis Suárez broke the game's deadlock in the 53rd minute with a header past Real defender Raphael Varane off a Neymar free-kick.

Barça, who is second to Real in the league table at the moment, seemed to be on its way to a much-needed win, but Los Blancos captain Sergio Ramos was able to score the equalizer right before the stroke of full-time with his own header to level the count.

It was the third straight drawn match for the Catalonia giants as Madrid kept the gap between them to six points in the overall standings.

The predicted result is a 3-0 bounce back win for Barcelona.

Barcelona starting lineup (4-3-3 formation): ter Stegen; Alba, Mascherano, Pique, Roberto; Gomes, Rakitic, Busquets; Neymar, Messi, Suárez
