'Final Fantasy 7' remake PC version to be release on 2018; Episode 1, 'Final Fantasy' collection to launch next year!

'Final Fantasy VII Remake' is an upcoming video game remake, developed and published by Square Enix, of the original 1997 PlayStation role-playing video game by Square.

The latest details for "Final Fantasy 7' remake will feature the release of episode 1, a "Final Fantasy" collection and a possible PC version of the game.

Several rumors are making rounds regarding the development of "Final Fantasy 7" remake and Square Enix's plans for the RPG franchise. According to VGLeaks, Square Enix will be making ambigous plans for their products, particularly "Final Fantasy" for next year.

While these rumors and speculations are yet to be confirmed, Square Enix plans to launch the first episode of "Final Fantasy 7" remake sometime within 2017 for the PlayStation 4 along with other "FF" titles, such as "Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age" and "Final Fantasy XIII" trilogy with 1080p and 60fps. Several reports claim that episode 1 could launch on March next year.

In addition, Square Enix also plans to have a "Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Collection" for the PS4 and PS Vita. The collection will contain "Final Fantasy" games from the very first to ninth title.

There are also different variations of the 30th Anniversary Collection" such as the regular version with the games and poster, Collector’s Edition which includes the games, poster, art book, 8-bit Black Mage keychain, Chocobo plush and two discs with a selection of songs chosen by Nobuo Uematsu and the Crystal Complete Edition.

The Crystal Complete Edition will include the games, "Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD", "Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age", "Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy", "Final Fantasy XV" with all the DLC, "Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn" including all expansions + a 3 month subscription.

Special items for "Final Fantasy XI Mobile and Final Fantasy XIV" will be included as well. Physical items will included all the content included in the Collector’s Edition, two extra discs for the soundtrack, a crystal necklace, a Moogle plush, a Black Mage statue, all three "Final Fantasy Trading Card Game" starter decks, "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children", "Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV" and "Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV". Everything will be packed in a luxury chest decorated with the Final Fantasy logo.

Lastly, there is a chance that Square Enix could release "Final Fantasy 7" remake for the PC in the mid-2018, NicheGamer reported.

Square Enix will be introducing a very different battle system for "Final Fantasy 7" remake than the classic Active Time Battle style from the original game. Game director Tetsuya Nomura and his team are currently in the middle of elevating various aspects up to finished quality.

"Final Fantasy 7" remake will have a more action-based gameplay, but Nomura explained that he has heard several request from gaming fans to add the ATB style in the remake. Nomura believes he has found the perfect gameplay system and "Dissidia" is the perfect example.

However, Nomura assure gaming fans who are not used to the action-oriented gameplay will have a feature that will help them keep up with the remake's gameplay.

"Final Fantasy 7" remake is speculated to launch sometime in 2017 for the PS4 console as it marks the 20th Anniversary of the sequel.
