The latest game details for the "Spider-Man" PS4 game will feature several alternate Spider-Man outfits and no appearance in PSX 2016.
Game developer Insomniac Games tweeted an announcement that there will not show any details about the "Spider-Man" PS4 game in the upcoming PlayStation Experience event this coming weekend.
The developers understood the disappointment of the games fans, however, they have teased that will show more details during the the PlayStation 4 Pro event soon, IGN reported. Spider-Man was featured in the new trailer for the PlayStation 4 called "The King", which promotes the upcoming video game titles for next year. These includes "God of War," "Call of Duty," and "Horizon Zero Dawn". The web-slinger made a brief appearance in the trailer stopping armed criminals, wearing the costume with the much-maligned white spider emblem.
The trailer also teased that more game details for "Spider-Man: PS4 will be coming soon, not to mention a new trailer for the web-slinger.
Insomniac Games will likely port "Spider-Man" PS4 in the new updated console, PlayStation 4 Pro. Sony officially announced the new console during the PlayStation Meeting event along with a new test footage trailer showcasing its impressive graphic improvements and a number of games like "For Honor", "Days Gone", "Watch Dogs 2" and "Spider-Man".
The developers clarified that the game will be featured in both PS4 and PS4 Pro consoles, making sure PS4 users are not left behind.
Meanwhile, WhatCulture made a list of ten possible alternate ouffits for the web-slinger in "Spider-Man" PS4 game.
These alternate Spidey outfits includes the Future Foundation, Punk Spider-Man, Spider-Man Noir, Captain Universe, Spider-Armor Mk 1, Bullet proof outfit, Superior Spider-Man, Amazing Fantasy #1, Tom Hollands version and the Spider-Armor Mk 3.
The website previously hinted the possible characters in the game such as Spot, Mister Negative, The Tinkerer, Alistair Smythe the Spider-Slayer, The Jackal, J. Jonah Jameson, Massacre, The Vulture, The Inheritors, and Green Goblin.
The plot of the "Spider-Man" PS4 game will be a standalone story and will feature a more experienced Peter Parker/Spider-Man, which will not tie in to the "Homecoming" film by Marvel Studios. Creative director Bill Rosemann added that the plot will have full of mysteries as there is a story behind everything, delving deeper into the web-slinger's world. The game will have a huge open-world gameplay in New York as Spidey utilizes his web swinging and amazing parkour skills to move around and fight criminals on a daily basis.
Sony and Marvel has not yet announced a release date of "Spider-Man" for the PS4.
