"Pokemon Sun and Moon" players are in a mad rush since the beginning of the week, as it was announced what could be one of the biggest events to date within the newly released title. It is said that players will get the chance to acquire the artificial Pokemon, known as Magearna, provided that fans meet the game event's requisites.

The Pokemon website has posted the mechanics on how to obtain the mythical creature. Per the website, players will have to beat the game in order to proceed to the next step which is activating the exclusive QR scanner feature of the game. Upon activation, players will then have to get the QR code for the said Pokemon while pressing the R button in the process.

The next step will be heading towards Hau'oli City and look for the shop named as Antiquities of the Ages. If done correctly, Magearna will now be part of the gamer's roster of Pokemons and save the game upon acquisition. Furthermore, the best thing about the recently announced event is that the code will not lapse unless it is removed from the website.

Be reminded though that the QR code featured on the Pokemon website is for the North American region not to mention that the code is region specific. It is said that European players will have a separate QR code that will be shown in a Pokemon special featurette dubbed "Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel." However, Eurogamer has posted QR code for European fans alongside the abovementioned code for U.S.

Meanwhile, Magearna's  special ability - Soul Heart, will drastically increase the amount of damage inflicted by the Pokemon against its opponents. In addition, the said ability is best paired with one of Magearna's special attacks known as the Fleur Cannon that will spew a concentrated beam towards the enemy.
