Klaus and Haley's daughter, Hope, may be the last fighting chance for the Mikaelson family in the upcoming "The Originals" Season 4.
"The Originals" Season 4 will pick up five years after Marcel defeated Klaus and the rest of the Mikaelson brood. With this time jump, viewers will get to meet a now grown-up Hope. Together with her mother Haley, Hope seeks to save his father and possibly exact revenge against Marcel.
For now, there is no one among the Mikaelson siblings that is in fighting condition. Klaus is staked by the Tunde Blade, which allows him to feel terrible, unceasing pain. Freya's, Elijah's, Kol's and Rebekah's souls are tethered to him, which prevents their bodies from decaying but has put them in deep sleep.
Given the circumstances, it appears Hope is the only one who can save Klaus and his family and give back New Orleans to his father. The young girl is expected to hold some extraordinary powers considering that she has all three supernatural genes in her blood. She has a witch, vampire and werewolf blood running in her veins, TVLine reported. Being the first of her kind, the extent of her powers remains relatively unknown. It could come either as a gift or a curse.
In his Instagram page, Joseph Morgan, who plays Klaus on the show, hinted that there will be a lot of betrayal and blood spill in "The Originals" Season 4.
"Someone will be betrayed. There will probably be a staking of some kind or another. Blood will flow. Enemies will become friends, friends will become enemies. Strange and new alliances will be formed," Morgan said on his Instagram page. "And most of all more than any of that, there will be Klaus."
It is speculated that the family drama will continue in the Mikaelson household after they're all liberated from the curse. Theory has it that Kol might plot his revenge against Klaus after the latter orchestrated Davina's death. Rebekah might once again leave the family as well.
"The Originals" Season 4 will premiere on March 17, 2017 on The CW.
